TEFAF Maastricht The World’s Leading Art and Antiques Fair 2009

Located in the south-eastern part of the Netherlands, just two hours drive south of Amsterdam, the city of Maastricht is heralded as one of the oldest polises of the region and continues to flourish as Limburg’s center of culture, heritage and the arts. Once a year Maastricht indeed lives up to its title and plays host to the world renowned European Art Fair (TEFAF Maastricht). “From its modest beginning as The Pictura Fine Art Fair in 1975″, TEFAF Maastricht has now developed into what today is considered as the worlds leading antiques and fine art fair.

With more than 230 dealers and thousands of museum-quality works; ranging from old masterpieces, antique furniture and decorative arts to this years newly launched design edition, (TEFAF Design), and its contemporary art collection, this European Art Fair is the place to be for everyone who is anyone in the international spheres of antiques, design and fine art.
